Coxsackie to pay $60K for historic building

Melanie Lekocevic is reporting in The Daily Mail the Coxsackie Village Board has approved the purchase of 14 River Street, for $60,000. The 2,500-square-foot historic building, located near Riverside Park, was once home to the George H. Scott Hook and Ladder Company. It is currently in a state of disrepair. The village will renovate the building to be used as a community meeting location, office space for the Coxsackie Farmer's Market and other village-sponsored groups.
