Pianist Francesca Tanksley will join host Cheryl K. for an interview. Tanksley will perform at Athens Riverfront Park August 2, as part of the 2013 Summer Concert Series. She studied piano with Sir Roland Hanna, Harry Jensen (Franz Liszt tradition) and composition with Jimmy Heath. Tanksley is a member of, and has recorded with the Billy Harper Quintet, the Jeff Siegel Quartet, the Erica Lindsay Quartet, and Howard Johnson's HoJo5, as well as leading her own group, the Francesca Tanksley Trio.
