Apr 04, 2022 12:15 am
Andrea Macko reports for Porcupine Soup that Greenville High School junior Hunter Smigel was elected as New York State FFA vice president for 2022-2023. Smigel first joined the group, formerly called Future Farmers of America, in sixth grade. “It has been amazing watching him grow and accomplish this next step in his journey,” said Diane Lewis, Greenville FFA advisor and longtime ag and technology teacher. Greenville’s FFA chapter was chartered in 1939, and is the only one in Greene County. The story does not quote Smigel. Read more about this story in Porcupine Soup.
