David Lee is reporting for The Columbia Paper the movie rental business VideoVisions, in Chatham, is one of the last of the privately owned businesses of its kind and has become something of a tourist attraction. On Sat., March 2, a team from the nationally syndicated television show Inside Edition came to the village to shoot an 8- to 10-minute segment about Steve Campbell’s store, which he started with his partner Jim Dunavin in 1984. Campbell has maintained the business with more than 23,500 titles, all organized and catalogued. Campbell says he has never gotten rid of a title and he is still acquiring new ones. Writer/producer Kevin Maher, who shot the segment for Inside Edition, said the segment will probably air some time in the next couple of months. Read the full story in The Columbia Paper.
