Aug 17, 2020 1:30 pm
Spectrum News is reporting New York State Assemblymember Sean Ryan is sponsoring legislation that would authorize county boards of elections to establish secure ballot drop boxes to help diminish concerns over mail-in voting for the upcoming presidential election. Wallace said given the current questions about the integrity of mail delivery, the bill would provide voters with the ability to personally deliver their ballots to a secure mailbox, knowing that it will be received on time and counted.
