Greene County

The Catskill Police Department has declared a snow emergency for the village of Catskill, beginning the evening of Tue., Feb. 12. Beginning at 8 p.m., all vehicles must be parked on the odd side of the street for 12 hours. At 8 a.m., Wednesday, vehicles must be moved to the even side of the street until 8 p.m. Vehicle owners must continue to alternate sides of the street every 12 hours, until the snow emergency has been canceled. In addition, parking on Main Street, from Greene Street to Summit Avenue, is prohibited, from 11 p.m., Tuesday until 8 a.m., Wednesday to allow for snow removal. Those who normally park on Main Street are advised to use the municipal parking lots. Details are available by calling the Catskill Police Department at (518) 943-2244.
