It's Day 7 of WGXC's Harvest Fall 2017 Pledge Drive, and our day-long "Pitch Fest" gets off the ground with the WGXC Morning Show, a radio magazine show featuring local news, interviews with community leaders and personalities, a rundown of public meetings, local and regional events, with weather updates, and more about and for the community. In the first hour: Catskill artist and writer Adam Hoyt will stop in to share his poetic thoughts about WGXC 90.7-FM. In the second hour: A conversation with Catskill resident Samantha Fey, with an update on current conditions in Puerto Rico in the wake of Hurricane Maria, and how some artists in our area are responding. Includes "Mr. Peetie Pete's Picks": healthy music, no fillers, and a hootenanny of a good time. Broadcast live from the Carnegie Room of the Catskill Library. Special guest co-host is Jae Lotus.
