Gillibrand says Trump should resign

Kirsten Gillibrand has called for the resignation of President Donald Trump due to what she believes are credible accusations of sexual misconduct dating back to the 1970s. “These allegations are credible, they are numerous,” Gillibrand told CNN’s Christine Amanpour in an excerpt from an interview that aired December 11. New York's junior senator called for Congress to hold hearings into the allegations, which have been leveled by nearly 20 women. “I think he should immediately resign, and if he doesn’t we should have the investigation,” she said. Trump has repeatedly denied the charges leveled by the women, accusations of various forms of abuse, ranging from groping to forcible kissing and more.
