50 and over now eligible for vaccination in New York

Edward McKinley reports for the Times Union that any New Yorker age 50 and older is eligible to sign up for a COVID-19 vaccination as of 8 a.m. March 23. Vaccination sites are also expanding to churches, synagogues, and mosques, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced March 22. Meanwhile, Columbia County announced 31 more COVID-19 cases March 22. Greene County announced 29 more cases on March 22. And Dutchess and Ulster County both reported additional coronavirus deaths over the weekend, and a rising number of cases.
