Decision on Colarusso dock project still pending
Amanda Purcell is reporting for Columbia-Greene Media the Hudson Planning Board held part two of its public hearing on A. Colarusso and Son’s dock site plan review application last week. At issue is the company's unauthorized reconstruction of the 75-foot bulkhead at the dock. The board has given Colarusso until October 2 to provide the city with needed data on the company's truck traffic and noise levels. Mitch Khosrova, the board's attorney, said this was the fourth month in a row the board has asked for the information. If the planning board does not receive the information, members may choose to move forward with their review without Colarusso’s cooperation and vote not to accept the application, Chairman Tom DePietro said. “We hope not to do that,” he said. DePietro said a formal letter will be sent to the company requesting the details. Disclosure: DePietro is a WGXC volunteer programmer currently on political hiatus.
