J. Collin, Manchester based ruminative, minimal guitar playing. Reminiscent of John Fahey (electric period) and Loren Mazzacane Connors. Also plays in Vampire Blues and Whole Voyald Infinite Light and runs the Winebox Press cassette label; Chalaque, solo guitar noise from Nick of of Golden Lab Records, also the founder member of free-rock action units Desmadrados Soldados De Ventura and Beach Fuzz; yek koo is Helga Fassonaki, half of Metal Rouge, appearing in a stripped down, raw outfit of guitar play and wailing vocal punk-chant poesis comprising a sound that is composed yet free, dirty yet pure - nu-psych; Zaïmph is the solo project of ambient noise artist Marcia Bassett. As a co-founder of Philadelphia’s shambolic psychonauts un and tectonic drone pioneers Double Leopards, Bassett is deeply entwined with the American noise underground, and has mapped regions still only dimly understood by subsequent sonic travelers.
