Scott Danek is an artist working primarily in video and sound, exploring the intricacies of digital and physical spaces, as well as the interactions between the two. He is interested in the sublimity of digits and dreams, and the separate reality that exists in digital space. In his work he strives to combine multiple realities that exist concurrently into one. Recent works include multiple "phonescapes" which combine many cellular transmissions into a single morphing entity, preserving and giving life to the probed signals. Danek's work has recently appeared at Galerija SKUC, Ljubljana, Slovenia, as part of RadioCona's Radio Art Space project, as well as in international broadcast and online exhibitions. Danek is currently working in Boston, Massachusetts, USA.
