On Facebook, the staff of the Blue Plate Restaurant in Chatham posted that their owner, Judy Grunberg, died this weekend. Grunberg also was the founder and president of PS21 in Chatham, and helped buy the Crandell Theater in 2010, keeping it an independent cinema. "Today we lost our Fearless Leader. Her kindness will live in our hearts forever. She will always be a part of our lives. She was an inspiration to us all. Judy, you will be missed," the Facebook post read. Grunberg was also on the board of WAMC radio.
