The Times Union is reporting the U.S. Postal Service will conduct a job fair Wed., Nov. 11, to fill 100 positions in the Capital Region in time for the holiday rush. Capital Region residents interested in indoor postal work can attend an in-person hiring event at the Postal Service general mail facility at 30 Karner Road in Colonie, off Central Avenue. The positions run from mid-November through January 1 with work concentrated in the evening, overnight, holiday and weekend shifts. For more information, call 518-452-2408.
