David Lombardo is reporting for Capitol Confidential state Senate hopeful Democrat Aaron Gladd of Brunswick has launched television ads in his race against Halfmoon Republican Daphne Jordan. They are competing for the seat currently held by Kathy Marchione, who in April announced her retirement. In the 30-second spots, Gladd touts his military experience, Adirondack roots and plans to reach across the aisle. The district consists of Columbia County and parts of Washington, Rensselaer and Saratoga counties. Gladd’s campaign said they intend to spend at least $100,000 on the ads.
