McLaughlin apologies for 'Hitler' comments

Jimmy Vielkind reports at Capitol Confidential Republican Assemblyman Steve McLaughlin has apologized for his comments Tues., Feb. 5, comparing Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo to Adolf Hitler. He said his statement was made "in the heat of the moment" and was an "honest mistake." The offending remarks came during a press conference calling for bills to be more fully aired before they are voted on, prompted by the recent passage of the NY SAFE Act.
