This week: The Chemirani Family (father Djamchid, sons Keyvan and Bijan and daughter Maryam) are Iranian/French musicians who live in France and who all are accomplished percussionists and singers. Today we feature a mix of their recordings and collaborations. Music from around the world is featured. Bringing the audience into the realm of other cultures through music, hopefully expanding empathy for the “other,” and recognizing that “other” in ourselves.
