Jun 25, 2016 12:03 am
WGXC is pleased to announce that as of 2 p.m. June 23 Wave Farm's WGXC reached its spring $20,000 fundraising goal, and live programming returned to 90.7-FM. WGXC sends immense thanks to everyone who contributed during the extended drive. The outpouring of support was extraordinary. A big 'thank you" to WGXC programmers, past and present, volunteers and supporters who made it happen – whether pitching for support, providing incentive premiums or sustenance, answering phones, or hitting the streets to solicit pledges in person.
WGXC still needs the support and help from the community. Turn out for a test of the Emergency Fundraising system, Sat. June 25 at 9 p.m. at the Half Moon in Hudson. A $10 with WGXC on-air programmers DJ Neva, Alex Benson, and Chris Bishop, and others performing in person and live on 90.7-FM WGXC. Tune in or turn out for a test of the Emergency Fundraising System Saturday night on WGXC and at the Half Moon in Hudson.
