The Wave Farm Study Center, with its transmission art-themed library, five outdoor installations, and a lively artist-in-residency program begins regular open hours on July 6, 2013. Located at 5662 Route 23 Acra, NY 12405, Wave Farm will be open to the public every Saturday from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m July through October. Stop by to use the library, meet artists-in-residence, and explore artists' transmission projects including: Deep Cycle/M49 (Max Goldfarb); Circular Spectrum Analyzer (CCRT: LoVid and Douglas Repetto); Will o’the Wisps (Justin Downs);Sing Sun Room (Matt Bua); and Remote Audio Outpost (Japanther.) On Saturdays in the summer, tour the inside of a radio station as radio happens, and visit the grounds and radio-themed installations. Bring a picnic lunch, or just visit the library.
