Carl McCall to deliver Columbia-Greene commencement speech

The Daily Freeman is reporting former state comptroller, H. Carl McCall, will deliver the keynote commencement speech at Columbia-Greene Community College, Fri., May 11. McCall is a former United Nations ambassador and three-term state senator, and he is currently the chairman of the State University of New York Board of Trustees. McCall is also an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ. In 1993, he was the first African-American to be elected New York state comptroller. McCall is a graduate of Dartmouth College. Columbia-Greene is a campus of the State University of New York. The two-year college offers a variety of academic programs leading to the degrees of Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, Associate in Applied Science, and Associate in Occupational Studies as well as one-year certificate programs and specialized courses.
