CSEA rejects fact-finding report

Ryan Anglim is reporting in The Daily Mail a public hearing was held by the Greene County Legislature Wed., Jan. 21, on the Fact-Finder Report released last month in connection with contract negotiations with the Civil Service Employees Association. Approximately 50 people attended the hearing held at Catskill High school -- most were members of the union and Greene County employees. CSEA rejected the recommendations made by the fact-finder. CSEA Labor Relations Specialist Diane Selchick said health insurance remains the key issue for members. She said that while under the plan proposed a member's contribution would decrease, the out-of-pocket costs would be far greater and difficult for many employees to manage.
