ICC voters say district education a 'good value'

Barbara Reina is reporting in the Register Star an exit poll of Ichabod Central School District voters in the spring revealed college-level Advanced Placement courses topped the list of programs voters want the district to preserve and that budget forums were at the bottom of the list as the best source of budget information. The results were presented to the Board of Education by Superintendent George Zini at a recent meeting. The survey also showed 18 percent of all registered voters turned out for the annual budget vote and board election in May. Seventy percent of those surveyed felt the quality of education at Ichabod Crane is a good value. Read the full story in the Register Star.
