Welcome to Part 3 of a philosophical discourse on Disbelief and what it is to be an Atheist. Unlike believers in God, there is no TV station, no radio station, and/or building structure on the corner of every village where an Atheist can go to discuss their views. So Atrevida will take you, each week, on a 5 part journey through the minds of five famous atheists: Colin McGinn, Daniel Dennett, Richard Dawkins, Steven Weinberg, and Arthur Miller, who were all interviewed in 2004 by Jonathan Miller of the BBC. This week, Aug. 28, 2011, will be the English Biologist Richard Dawkins. So tap into the philosopher within yourself, and de-mystify the myths of Atheism; a belief system that has been treated with disdain and unjustly demonized by “believers”.
