Work on Copake, Hillsdale bridges begins

The Columbia Paper reports that County Routes 7A and 21 in Columbia County will close for bridge repairs beginning June 8. The Dinehart Bridge, which carries County Route 7A over the Roeliff Jansen Kill in the Copake, will re-route traffic over Columbia County Route 7A (the Center Hill Road section) and a section of Columbia County Route 7 passing through Copake Lake and West Copake. The Dean Bridge, carrying County Route 21 over a Roeliff Jansen Kill tributary in north Hillsdale, detours over sections of County Route 21, state Route 22, state Route 203 and Columbia County Route 7 in both Hillsdale and Austerlitz.
