Opus 40 now open to the public

The Times Union is reporting the Saugerties sculpture park Opus 40, carved from a quarry by Harvey Fite, has reopened to the public for limited social-distancing visits that adhere to COVD-19 safety protocols. Groups of five people or fewer may visit the park for two hours or less from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday through Sunday. Tickets must be purchased in advance at opus40 [dot] org; no one can enter without prior signup, and registration cannot be changed or refunded. Essential workers including hospital employees, firefighters, police officers and agricultural workers are admitted for free. Opus 40 is comprised of a 6.5-acre walkable sculpture; a half-acre meadow; more than 50 acres of walkable trails; and a gallery, museum and more. Read the full story in the Times Union.
