D. Burke Mahoney artist
D. Burke Mahoney is a sound artist currently living in Toronto, Ontario. He was born in Montreal and studied design at Concordia University. Currently, Mahoney creates richly textured and often melodic soundscapes that haunt and stimulate his listeners. His compositions range from heavy and dense to sparse and subtle and often contain a mixture of field recordings and radio transmissions. He has released material in Canada, Central America, the United States and in Europe.
