R. Dove is a software engineer, researcher, and artist interested in satellite remote sensing and digital signal processing. Since 2017, they have contributed open-source software and processing techniques to the Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellites (GOES) direct readout community, including for the Advanced Baseline Imager (ABI) and Solar Ultraviolet Imager (SUVI) instruments. R. Dove maintains the Python library heregoes which powers Here GOES Radiotelescope (2020) and sees production use at UW–Madison SSEC and beyond.
