Today we feature music from the North Indian Classical Musician Debashish Bhattacharya. He performs on slide guitars of various sizes and configurations which he has designed to accomodate the subtleties of Hindustani Ragas. On the last track he collaborates with two musicians from Poland, Hubert Zemler (drums) and Wojtez Tracyk (upright bass). Music from around the world is featured. Bringing the audience into the realm of other cultures through music, hopefully expanding empathy for the “other,” and recognizing that “other” in ourselves.
