Selections heard on the show come from traditional, religious, pop, art, and hybrid origins, but with some emphasis on less-Westernized tunes. The show usually originates live from WGXC's Acra studio.
Winslow is a geographer, civil servant, musician, and student of the Persian setar. He lives in Greene County, NY.
