This broadcast features a conversation with George Paterson, a writer, DJ, and musician who, as a member of the bands White and DMP, released a number of albums on the Poco Alto label. His work has been included in independent feature-length and short films, as well as providing the musical backdrop to the London stage production of the play, ‘ISM’. Since he returned to Scotland in 2017, Paterson's focus has been split between the spoken word — his popular weekly ‘Lost in Music’ radio show — and the written, with articles appearing in a number of online publications before finding a home as a regular feature writer and reviewer for INTO Creative. He has written two screenplays and one feature-length coming of age story, serialized on INTO, entitled, "Everybody Wants to Rule the World."

On each show, invited guests are asked to discuss a number of items that they would take with them to their Catskill Cabin get-away. As Mike and Andy discuss their chosen items, it is intended that you, the listener, will enjoy getting to know each guest that little bit better. This WGXC podcast is subscribable. An excerpt of this show airs later in the day at 6 p.m. on "All Together Now!," then later in the week on the "WGXC Morning Show" and the "WGXC Early Morning Show." Before March, 2021, the show was called "Catskill Cabin Conversations."
