Andrea Macko reports at Porcupine Soup that an unidentified Brooklyn man was arrested after getting stuck in a snowbank on Hunter Mountain ski resort roads fleeing police who sought him for drawing graffiti on a lean-to on the Spruceton Trail. The Department of Environmental Conservation found out about the graffiti on the John Robb Lean-to on Nov. 2 from a social media post. On Nov. 4, they found out that the man returned to the scene of the crime to clean up. When forest rangers arrived, the 39-year-old suspect had fled, but they found him nearby stuck in a snowbank. The man was charged with a class A misdemeanor for the graffiti on the lean-to, and for defacing rock and natural materials on state land. The unidentified man now has a Lexington Town Court on December 15. Read more about this story at Porcupine Soup.
