Port of Albany gets $4 million from state

Liz Young reports for the Albany Business Review the Port of Albany is getting $4 million in taxpayer money for its new $8 million warehouse. The Empire State Development board approved a $4 million capital grant for the project on Jan. 17. That's not the first taxpayer contribution to the project: "The warehouse was initially chosen to receive state funding in the 2015 regional economic development council competition," according to the report.
