Newburgh asking NYS to fund lead testing

Jul 08, 2019 3:30 pm
MidHudsonNews [dot] com is reporting Newburgh Mayor Torrance Harvey is calling on the state government to expand its funding to pay for blood testing that measures lead exposure. Since the city’s water supply was found to contain the toxins PFOS and PFOA, the state of New York has been providing and paying for blood testing for anyone who wants it.
