Report: Cuomo has made contact in Iowa

Thomas Beaumont reports for the Associated Press that New York Governor Andrew Cuomo "has contacted Des Moines-area Democrats" about a possible presidential campaign. Iowa holds the first caucus in 2020 to decide the Democratic nominee. On Nov. 21, Cuomo dismissed talk of any presidential ambition, saying “I’m going to stick with New York State.” Previously, New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand said she is considering a run for president too.
