Michael Ryan is reporting in the Register Star an independent prosecutor has been assigned to the Windham Town Hall probe. Greene County acting District Attorney Charles Bucca said Wed., Apr. 30, the investigation has been turned over to the office of Columbia County District Attorney Paul Czajka (CHIA-kah). Bucca said the decision was made in Greene County court in mid-April to avoid any appearance of impropriety. State police investigators raided Windham Town Supervisor Stacy Post’s home and seized a computer from her town hall office in March. No charges have been filed.
