Ford won't challenge Gillibrand

Tomorrow's New York Times includes an op-ed from former Tennessee representative Harold Ford Jr. in which he says he will not challenge New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand this year in a Democratic primary. "If I run, the likely result would be a brutal and highly negative Democratic primary — a primary where the winner emerges weakened and the Republican strengthened," Ford writes.
