New York pledges to cooperate with three neighboring states on gun control

Lyons is reporting at Capitol Confidential the governors of New York, Connecticut, New Jersey and Rhode Island announced February 22, they have agreed to create a multi-state database to share information on firearms and law enforcement. The plan will include efforts to stop the illegal flow of out-of-state guns into those four states and create a gun-violence research consortium to better inform policy makers. “It’s not at all unusual for states to create coalitions, especially where there’s a void in leadership from the federal government,” Gov.
