Bill and Hillary Clinton in Hudson
Feb 28, 2017 12:06 am
Social media is full of photos, videos, and many comments about the brief visit to Hudson Feb. 27 by Bill and Hillary Clinton. The former president and presidential candidate were photographed and recorded coming out of the Grazin' Diner on Warren Street. The Register-Star quoted Clinton coming out of Grazin' first saying: “We were with my daughter and her family and we wanted to stop here.” The paper reports that Clinton said Grazin’ Farm provided food at Clinton’s daughter, Chelsea Clinton’s, wedding in Rhinebeck in 2010. What did they have for lunch? “We ate too many of them [french fries],” she said with a laugh. “I was here in ‘99 when I was a senator, but I haven’t been back in a long time,” she said. “I’m glad to be here,” the Register-Star reported. Eventually, the former president emerged out of the restuarant, and WGXC programmer Dan Seward's Instagram feed has a recording of that moment: click here to hear brief audio from outside Grazin'.
