Nov 04, 2017 12:05 am
Emilia Teasdale reports in The Columbia Paper that Roy Brown and Andrea “Cricket” Coleman are running for county coroner Nov. 7. They are seeking to replace Angelo Nero, who is not seeking reelection. Coroner terms are four years and the county has three coroners. Brown, 60, is running on the Republican, Conservative, and Independence party lines, though he is not enrolled in any political party. He lives in Germantown and owns the Iron Horse Cigar Depot in Hudson. Coleman is a doctor, running on the Democratic, Working Families, and Women’s Equality lines on the ballot. Coleman has taken a year-long forensic pathology fellowship and an additional fellowship year studying forensic cardiovascular and neuropathology. Read the full story in The Columbia Paper.
