Cuomo announces new buses for Greene, Ulster

Governor Andrew Cuomo announced $59.3 million in state and federal funding for upstate transit authorities on May 26, with almost a million set for Greene, Columbia, and Rensselaer counties. Greene County gets $489,916 for three buses and mobility management services; Columbia County gets $260,000 for operating assistance, vehicle replacement, and equipment; and $110,000 goes to Rensselaer County for operating assistance. Farther south, Ulster County receives $534,000 for operating assistance and one new bus; Dutchess County got $183,000 for operating assistance.
