Benefits of tourism in Palenville being explored

Kemble is reporting in the Daily Freeman supporters of an effort to brand Palenville as a tourist destination are confident the hamlet can attract visitors without becoming a burden on residential property owners. At a Town Board meeting Tues., July 1, community organizers sought to clarify a study released in April by students at SUNY Albany. That study promoted the potential economic benefits of focusing on tourism while retaining the community’s rural character.
