Chatham Village schedules public hearing on zoning changes
Aug 26, 2019 12:32 am
Emilia Teasdale reports in the Columbia Paper that the Chatham Village Board will hold the first of two public hearings on proposed changes to the village's zoning code at 6 p.m. Sept. 3. Both the Town of Chatham and the Village of Chatham currently have proposals to change their zoning rules. The village has fewer changes proposed, with an updated zoning map, new and updated definitions, changes to the use table, and changes in applying for a special use permit. Village Mayor John Howe said there will be a second public hearing later in September before there is a vote. The proposed changes and updates to the zoning code are the village website, villageofchatham.com. Read more about this story in the Columbia Paper.
