David Lee reports in the Columbia Paper that the 8th annual Great Hudson River Estuary Fish Count was held August 10 at multiple sites along the Hudson River including Lasher Park in Germantown. Each year, the state Department of Environmental Conservation makes a rough census of the animals that spawn and live in the river.
