Anight of acoustic blues, vintage jazz, swing and folk roots Americana. Annie and the Hedonists, led by Annie Rosen, plays interpretive songs of great female blues artists from the ‘20s, ‘30s and ‘40s, including Ella Fitzgerald, Bessie Smith, Sippie Wallace, Memphis Minnie, Billie Holiday, Rosetta Tharpe, Blue Lu Barker and others. The band also provides a musical history lesson through the songs of Bob Dylan, Dave Van Ronk and Mississippi Sheiks.
