Longtime Hudson residents will speak about their roots in and/or migration to Hudson. They will discuss memories of the Hudson they grew up in and what Hudson is like now. These local recollections of family, community, and civic life will be explored in relation to issues around education, criminal justice, health and human services and quality of life on the local, state and national level with an emphasis on how it affects minorities and people of color. A question and answer period and refreshments will follow the discussion. Presented as part of the Hudson Area Library’s Local History Speaker series and the SBK Social Justice Center’s Barbershop Talks.
