Inspired by the 1957 Jack Kerouac novel of the same title, On The Road is an evening-length, multi-media piece that contemplates the general upheaval of the 1960s and the beat generation’s notions of social rebellion. While in residence, the company will work on Sacred, a new piece, which incorporates themes from American Indian culture with contemporary dance.
