Celebrating and Preserving Freedom, an event in honor of Juneteenth and World Sickle Cell Awareness Day. Juneteenth is a celebration of the Emancipation Proclamation. The event will feature live music, and community drumming, the Diata Diata International Folkloric Theater Percussion Ensemble and poetry by Ifetayo Cobbins. Keynote speakers include Heather L. Martin, Secretary of the National Pain Patients Coalition. Free family event in the Community Room.
