This screening is open to the public with the film’s star in attendance. Sonita, a young Afghani refugee, finds a means of escape through music, in a story captured in Rokhsareh Ghaem Maghami’s award-winning documentary. Sonita is now graduating from Bard College and planning for the next chapter in her life.
