WCAA LP-FM organizational meeting for new radio station. WCAA-LP stands for “Community, Arts and Activism!” This radio station will give local artists, youth, activists and neighbors a platform to learn and to educate, to perform and to entertain. Find out the current status and future plans for WCAA, become a member and get involved! At this meeting, you will meet the WCAA Steering Committee, be able to join a project, and find out who you can become a broadcaster. WCAA is hands-on community radio for Albany and the Capital Region. We want you to be a part of it! With WCAA, we’ve got a voice in Albany! WCAA is a project of Grand Street Community Arts (GSCA) which is located in old St. Anthony’s Church on Grand Street and Madison Avenue. GSCA has been authorized by the FCC to construct a Low-Power FM Broadcast Station in Albany operating at 107.3 FM.
