Musicians Arone Dyer, Brian Dewan, Ross Goldstein, Alexander Turnquist, and Liam Singer take an ambient/freeform musical journey inspired by the collective ingestion of Kava, a drink we have come to know and love. What is Kava, you ask? It's a plant-based beverage originating in the Pacific islands with natural sedative, anesthetic and euphoriant properties that is quickly gaining popularity in the west as a delightful alternative to alcohol. Audience members who wish to participate in Kava consumption should arrive at 7:30 p.m. We like a concoction that pairs Kava with Oat milk, cinnamon, and honey, but can accommodate other preparations upon request. The music will begin a little past 8 p.m. Chairs will be set out, as well as a small area of blankets/pillows if anyone wishes to lie down.
